Perhaps relevant to companies who want to hire great recruiters or individuals who want to be exposed to new opportunities.
Nominate a recruiter via editor@breakoutlist.com or on Twitter (if you’re a recruiter feel free to have someone that you’ve helped nominate you)
- Tonya Shtarkman at Riviera Partners
- Nancy Soni/Ashley Wong at FILD
- Tammy Han, FRC https://www.linkedin.com/in/tammyhan
- Jack Leidlein, FRC https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=10545285
- Jason Lohrentz, Shopkick https://www.linkedin.com/in/skillmelon
- Amy Jackson
- Andy Chen from Kleiner. He explains things incredibly clearly and he is transparent and to the point.
- Kenny Mendes. He moves fast, he is direct, clear, and accommodating.
- Helen Hua from True
- Kayla Kahl (currently at stitch fix) and Jon Wong (currently at hotel tonight, I think…)
- I’ve had good experiences with Bruce Brown at Daversa Partners and Iain Grant at Riviera Partners.
- Would like to nominate Kenny Mendes as the best tech recruiter I’ve worked with.
- Aline Lerner (https://twitter.com/alinelernerllc) is incredible
- One of the best I’ve worked with in recent years is James Hunt at BINC. I think he is still there, maybe even running the place? He’s smart, competent, communicates well and works well with hiring managers, and knows talent when he sees it.
- Further back, there was a contract recruiter I liked named Andy Kulick based in Chicago, I think his (one-man) shop is called Pinpoint. He does a good job of maintaining relationships with engineers over the years, and never spams people or comes across as spammy, which is saying a lot when it comes to recruiters.
- I would love to nominate Andre L. Gordenstein (https://www.linkedin.com/in/andreliragordenstein) for the best recruiter I have ever worked with.
- For Sales — Bett’s Recruiting. Brooke Sayler. Excellent companies, focus on the candidate and making sure opportunities are aligned with them for a quality long-term match.
